Quick Update

Hey Friends :)

So, I have almost two weeks under my belt as an intern, and I couldn't love coming to work every day any more!
The people here are SO wonderful, and have made me feel like I've been a part of the Timberline Church family for a long time. I am blessed to be able to do something I enjoy so much. We'll see what comes of it after Sept. 1 when my internship comes to a close.

Other fun things that have been going on -
I moved in with my host parents and will be spoiled beyond belief this summer! They have a beautiful home and have given me my own room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in probably in my whole life. :) I get my own bathroom as well, and they are being so gracious and loving towards me. Again, I am blessed beyond what I deserve!

I've only had one babysitting job since I've been here, but I'm okay with that because it's allowed me to start getting involved with the young adult group here at church called nine70. It's a really great group of young people made up of college students, young professionals, and newlyweds. I'm looking forward to being a part of a small group and taking part in the various activities they put on like a Summer Kick-off BBQ tonight. I haven't made too many friends yet, so I'm trying to seize every opportunity to do so. :)
